My friend

I have so many stories of my friend Bill.  the one that comes to mind is the trip he made to my home in New Hampshire.  When i finally dragged him away from my pool, (he offered to be our pool boy which of course Trish was all over......sorry Michelle) we went to play golf at a local "old" course.  Here we go: I set up a tee time for early in the morning.  Upon arrival to the Amherst Country Club we found ouselves teamed with a couple of Old gents.....Members.  it was a mid summer day in NH and we found ourselves at 7 am in a fog...not just us but a real fog.  After the typical intoductions the "old Gents" let Bill and I tee off first.  i made my way to the tee box....hit a nice shot down the fairway into the fog.  Next was my friend Bill.  If anyone knows Bill and his stance, you will understand the next chain of events.  Bill walks up, posts to his typical stance....facing to the right side of the fairway.......hits the ball which goes to the right..........I look at one of the "old gents" and see he is shaking his head like "never seen anything like that".  Well when we finally traveled down the fairway into the abyss of fog.........there is Bil'ls ball in the middel of the fairway a few feet from mine...........again  our partnered gentleman shook their heads in utter amazemment...........that was my friend Bill.  We played a great round, made new aquaintences and got schooled by a couple of old time duffers.  See you at the ninetheenth hole Bill.
