Our Facilities

Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home recently renovated the interior of the funeral home with new carpet, furniture, draperies and also converted a selection room area to a secondary visitation chapel to accommodate families for private or large visitations and services. Each chapel also includes a 55" Smart TV to display memorial DVD programs or family videos. 

 

The funeral home also provides a 50 car, off street parking lot located behind the facility. Larger visitations can also accommodate vehicles with added parking across the street from the funeral home at St. Paul's Lutheran Church parking lot.

 

An on-site ramp allows for handicap accessibility as well as handicap accessible restrooms. Family members and friends can be assured that they will be comfortable in a modern facility with a historic feel in the heart of Doylestown Borough. Our facility is located on North Main Street and easily accessible to all major highways, churches and cemeteries. We are also the closest funeral facility to Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine in Doylestown.

 

In 2015, our firm will include on-site cremation with the introduction of our new crematory - Central Bucks Crematory, Inc. The crematory will be attached to the facility and will allow friends and family the opportunity to view or start the beginning of the cremation procedure. Families may enter the cremation area or view the procedure beginning on a 55" Smart Television with a camera in the cremation facility. The secondary chapel allows families the opportunity to positively identify a loved one prior to cremation occurring or provide for a private viewing for immediate family members or close friends. Religious groups may also utilize the chapel during procedures to meet religious customs or requirements. Funeral homes local to Doylestown or firms in NJ may also utilize our facility to assist families for cremation services or committals.
