Obituary for Rita Anne Pezzullo
Rita Anne (Harris) Pezzullo, 80, of Doylestown PA, passed away on March 31, 2023 surrounded by her family. Rita was born in the Bronx on January 14,1943 and attended St. Raymond’s school and St. Helena’s Business Academy. For many years, she worked for NY State as a Laboratory Technician.
As a child, Rita treasured spending summers in Greenwood Lake, NY with her family. Later in life, her joy of summer carried over into delightful days at Saxon Woods pool. She spent many hours playing cards with her friends and was an avid walker, intent on enjoying a few laps around her neighborhood to get her steps in for the day. Family was an important part of her life and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a beautiful soul and will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. She will be deeply missed.
Rita is predeceased by her parents John Alexander and Marie (Dolan) Harris and her brother Robert Harris. She is survived by her two daughters Dianne Nicolosi (Joseph) of Exton, PA and Laraine Pezzullo (Stephen) of Doylestown, PA and her grandchildren Joseph Daniel, Kristen and Michael Nicolosi. She is also survived by her former husband Anthony Pezzullo, sister Eileen Harris De la Campa (Alberto), brother Edward Harris as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive their friends at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, April 22, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.
