Obituary for David A. Waters
David A. Waters of Ivyland, PA passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. He was 74.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Andrew and Juletta (Britt) Waters, David was raised in the Bustleton section of Philadelphia and resided in Levittown, PA before moving to Ivyland, PA 21 years ago.
David was formerly employed as an electrician with the IBEW Local 98 of Philadelphia, PA for 53 years, before retiring in 2006. He served in the National Guard, enjoyed crossword puzzles, was a Military history buff and loved spending time with his step grandchildren.
He was the beloved husband of Jill (Bloomingdale) Waters; stepfather of Shari Hammond, Kerri Millar and husband Brian, Kristin Early and husband Scott; dear brother of Donald (Siglanda), John (Rose), Joseph (Jackie), Caroline (Leo), Thomas, Geraldine (Chester), Peggy (Richard) and the late Francis (Phyllis); step-grandfather of Lauren and husband Dan, Chase, Emersyn, Zackery, Kolton, McKenna, Kaden and Larsyn; step great-grandfather of Breighlynn and Addelyn. Also, survived by a son Patrick from a previous marriage.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Doylestown Cemetery, 215 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 2:00pm.
