Ernest E. Kearney of Upper Makefield Township, Pa. passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 in St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. He was 86.
Born in Norwalk, OH , he resided in Upper Makefield Township since 1972 and was a former resident of Morrisville, PA.
Ernest was formerly employed as a heavy equipment mechanic with Ziegenfuss Drilling, Inc. of Ringoes, NJ for 27 years before retirement. He enjoyed model trains and vintage tractors.
He was the beloved husband of the late Maude M. Kearney; beloved father of Dina Kearney, Ernest E. Kearney Jr. and his wife, Jessica, Raymond Kearney and his wife, Allison the late Mark, Russell and Barbara Kearney; loving grandfather of Andrew, Raymond Jr., Randy, Colleen, Ashlee, Austin, Brandon and Jennifer; Ernest was the last of his 6 siblings.
The family will receive their friends at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901, on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 9:30-11:00 am, with a service to begin at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Thompson Memorial Cemetery, New Hope, PA.
