Obituary for Marigrace T. Britt
Marigrace T. Britt (nee Tushingham) of Doylestown, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Doylestown Hospital. She was 79.
Born in Doylestown, PA to the late Russell and Maria (Arrigo) Tushingham Ferris, Marigrace was a former resident of the Spring Valley area of Doylestown and Erwinna, PA.
Marigrace was a class of 1961 graduate of Abington Senior High School. She was formerly employed as an attendance secretary and special education aide at Central Bucks High School East, retiring in 2007 after 21 years of service. Marigrace was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church where she assisted with collections and was a member of the Ladies of Mt. Carmel. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of a book club in Doylestown. Being an avid sun worshipper, she loved her time with friends and family in Avalon and Ocean City, NJ.
She was the beloved wife of the late Albert C. Britt, Jr.; devoted mother of Richard L. Schemm, Jr. and wife Katherine, Alison Radovich and husband Michael, and Brandon A. Britt; dear sister of Doretta J. Thomas and husband Matthew, and the late Rosemary M. Johnson; loving grandmother of Harrison, Reid and Lane Radovich, Ashley, Kacey, and Richard Schemm.
The family will receive their friends at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 am, with a mass to follow at 10:30 am.
Burial will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
