Obituary for Paul A. Donley
Paul A. Donley of Doylestown, PA passed away at his residence on Friday, September 23, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was 84.
Paul was born September 11, 1938 in Mansfield, Ohio to Harry Donley and Hazel Martin Donley Storch, and married Denna McConahay Smith on June 9, 1979. He primarily was raised in the Wayne County area of OH prior to him and his wife moving to the Doylestown area in 1979.
Paul’s working career was 43 years in the field of technical ceramic materials. He was retired in September 2000 as an Applications Engineer which afforded him an opportunity to enjoy the pleasures of much travel both in the states and abroad.
Surviving are children, Brian (Janet) Donley of Nashua, NH and Jill (Cornel) Munteanu of Olmstead Falls, OH; a sister, Elinor Lewis of Mansfield, OH; stepchildren, Athena (Alan) Sheppard of Durant, OK, Ronald (Deborah) Smith of Orrville, OH and Jacqueline (Stan) Olevnik; and a step granddaughter, Alexandra Olevnik of Penn Yan, NY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marilyn McDevitt.
Per his request there will be no services and final interment will be at the convenience of the family.
