Obituary for Rena M. Priolo

Rena Mary (Voltolina) Priolo, of Doylestown, PA passed away in Christ Home, Warminster, PA on Friday, August 19, 2022. She was 97.

Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Teresa Voltolina and the sister of the late Laura Germanetti of Bethlehem, PA.

She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem, PA and received a BS in Business Education from Rider University. Rena was employed by the Bethlehem School District as a Business Education teacher. In 1954, she became a resident of Bucks County and in 1966 she was employed by the Centennial School District of Warminster, PA in Business Education. After 25 years of teaching, she retired in 1984. Upon retirement she traveled extensively throughout the United States and many foreign countries with her late husband, Francis.

Rena was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and served a s a volunteer in the community for Doylestown Hospital, Meals on Wheals of Central Bucks and the Central Bucks Senior Center of Doylestown. She was a member of the Doylestown Nature Club and Ladies of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society.

She was the beloved wife of the late Francis; devoted mother of two sons, Richard and (Sun) of Doylestown, Martin and (Mary) of Pembroke, NH; loving grandmother of Chantel A. Mozal and husband Nick of Wilmington, DE; cherished great-grandmother of Vincenzo, Francis and Julia Mozal; she is survived by many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and great grandnieces.

A graveside service will be held in Doylestown Cemetery, 215 E. Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rena’s memory to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
