Veronica “Jean” Genevieve Borek Granko of Holland, PA passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in ProMedica Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Yardley, PA. She was 97.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Catherine (Krupczak) Borek, Jean resided in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Holland, PA.
Jean attended St. Ladislaus Polish School in Philadelphia during her childhood. She was formerly employed with ACME Markets of Holland, PA for over 20 years.
She was the beloved wife of the late Victor Granko; devoted mother of the late Cathy Louise Slack and Joy Phy; loving grandmother of Deanna Slack and Frederick Jonathon Slack III; cherished mother-in-law of Frederick J. Slack Jr. and Don Phy; dear sister of the late John, Andrew, Frank, Walter, Bronislaw, Blanche, Stephaney, Joseph, Julia and Frances; cherished sister-in-law of Barbara and Joanne Borek; also survived by twenty-five nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Jean will be held at a later date.
