William D. King of Doylestown, PA passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. He was 75.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late William and Doris (Stier) King, Bill resided in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Doylestown, PA 50 years ago.
He was formerly employed as a lineman and worked in substations with PECO. Bill was a former leader with Boy Scout Troop 160 of Philadelphia and enjoyed his motorcycle, fishing, reading, gardening, and watching comedians. He was a US Naval Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
He was the beloved husband of the late Laura King; devoted father of William D. King, III and wife Wendy, Tina Schaffer and husband Dan, Sandra King and Edward Hancock; dear brother of Mark King; loving grandfather of Danny, Timothy and Ryan.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
