Obituary for Lena R. Vellucci
Lena R. Vellucci (nee Altamuro) of Upper Southampton, PA passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 2, 2022. She was 79.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Nicholas and Jean (Renzi) Altamuro, Lena was a resident of Philadelphia, PA before moving to Upper Southampton, PA 25 years ago.
Lena was formerly employed with the Liberty Bell Park in the Northeast Section of Philadelphia, PA and the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA.
She was the beloved wife of 42 years to Frank J. Vellucci; devoted mother of Marc Petrasso, Scott Petrasso, Paul Petrasso and wife Colleen, and Kenneth Petrasso and late wife Donna; dear stepmother of John Vellucci and wife Joan, Frank Vellucci and wife Diane, and Ramona Vellucci Kober and husband Frank; dear sister of Michael Altamuro and wife Joann, and the late Nicholas Altamuro and wife Elizabeth; also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 1150 Bristol Rd, Southampton, PA 18966 on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 with a gathering from 9:30-10:00 am prior to the 10:00 am service.
