Obituary for Geraldine "Gerri" Snock
Our family, friends, and community lost someone very near and dear to our hearts on June 6, 2022.
Geraldine Snock, known to most as Gerri lost a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born Geraldine Swinand (daughter of Louis and Marie) on September 6, 1948, she is survived by her husband of 54 years (Frank J. Snock), 2 Children and their spouses (James and Annette Snock, Kristie and Arnold Capitanelli), 6 Grandchildren (Matthew Snock, Alexis Cox, Emma Capitanelli, Lindsey Snock, Sophie Capitanelli, Dominick Capitanelli), and a great grandchild (Nolan Cox) who was born just a couple weeks before her passing. Gerri is also survived by 3 siblings and was 1 of 5.
To those who knew her, Gerri was known for her servant heart, immeasurable courage, and authentic love for all her close relations. She worked in the banking industry for most of her career and has been a resident of Doylestown, PA for the past 22. Her hobbies were word games, crocheting, collectables, travel, and acting as “head chef” to her husband’s hunt club, and she loved fashion.
A memorial service will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940 on Monday, June 27, 2022 11:30 am. Please arrive no later than 11:15 am at the cemetery.
