Obituary for Kelly Michael McCarty
Kelly Michael McCarty of Newtown, PA passed away peacefully at home in the early morning of Saturday, June 4, 2022 at the age of 58.
Born in Trenton, NJ to Robert McCarty and the late Terry (Maier) McCarty.
Kelly was known to have one of the biggest hearts to anyone who knew and loved him. He loved all types of fishing and was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to his "Boston Red Sox" and the "Red Skins" he was a true lover of music of all genres and we can’t forget his love and passion for cars. He was always the one in the room to get everyone laughing whether it be with a joke or just telling old stories.
Trips to NYC were also a favorite, as was reminiscing about early NYC through the eyes of his beloved late grandmother, Rita Maier.
He was the brother of TJ McCarty & wife Cindy, Melissa Kunkel & husband Marty, Bridget Ashbaugh & husband Timothy, and Timothy McCarty; A cherished grandson of the late Rita "Reet" Maier, a loving Uncle of Nicole, Kristina (Bubbs), Katie, Brittany, Morgan, Corey, James, and Yulia; beloved grand uncle of Haile, Landen, Chase, Tyson, Jordan (J Rod) and Kason.
Kelly will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to know him, love him and be loved by him, he truly was "One of a kind!"
A Celebration of Kelly's life will be held in the future.
