Obituary for Kathleen S. Walker

Kathleen Sheridan Walker “Nanny” of Warwick, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. She was 79.

Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Agnes (Ernst) Naegley and the daughter of the late William Naegley, she graduated from Carteret High School, Carteret, NJ and was employed as an administrative assistant with Merck, Sharp & Dohme of New Jersey. After marrying her high school sweetheart, Kathy moved to Brick, NJ where she dedicated her life to raising her three boys. Throughout her years living in Brick, she nannied many children and was an active member at her Parish, Visitation Church. She instilled the love of the Lord in her children. Once she was blessed with grandkids, Nanny never missed an opportunity to spoil them as she took great pride in her role as their grandmother.

Nanny and her husband Dave moved to Warwick, PA in 2005, after Dave suffered a severe stroke. Nanny was faithful in her dedication to taking loving care of Dave. Nanny joined St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church in Jamison, PA, and was active in the Heritage Creek Community. Here, she met many friends and found joy in playing cards and interacting with her family of girlfriends. Her legacy is evident in her successful children and beautiful grandchildren, as they continue to grow in their own lives.

She was the beloved wife of the late David G. Walker, Jr.; the devoted mother of David G. Walker, III (Megan), Scott Walker (Gail), and Brad Walker (Natasha); the dear sister of William Naegley, Jr.; most importantly, Nanny was the loving grandmother of Scotty, Ali, Marisa, Shannon, Katie, Jackson, Mason, Mia, and Tori.

A memorial gathering will be held at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA 18929 on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 am with a mass to follow at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
