Obituary for Mary C. Wade
Mary C. Wade formerly of Furlong, PA passed away at her daughter’s residence in Vineland, NJ on Sunday, April 24, 2022. She was 91.
Born in Far Hills, NJ, to the late Patrick and Mary (Tighe) Walsh, Mary resided in Furlong, PA since 1969. She recently moved a year ago to Vineland, NJ.
Mary was formerly employed as a Registered Nurse and Office Manager for Upjohn Healthcare Services of Doylestown, PA. She was a former member of St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church of Jamison. Mary enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Neshaminy Golf Club; playing bridge, reading, and spending time at the beach. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of the late Perry G. Wade; devoted mother of Joanne Biddinger (Drew), Michael Wade (Sharon), Daniel Wade (Frances Good), and James Wade; loving grandmother of Megan(Ed), Erin(Jon), Michael, Bryan(Hayley), Justin, Tanis(Omar) and Colleen; cherished great-grandmother of Madelyn, Andie, Stella and Mary; dear sister of Matthew Walsh, Ann Traynor and William Walsh.; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA 18929 on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the mass at the church.
Cremation services were private under the direction of Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
Services will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA in the future.
