Obituary for Rosemary L. Miller

Rosemary L. Miller (nee Lanigan) passed away at home on Thursday March 24th, 2022 with her husband by her side. She was 44 years old.

Rosemary was employed as an elementary school educator with the Methacton School District since 2001. A devoted teacher, she obtained a Master Degree in Reading and Literacy, was a 1996 graduate of Methacton High School, and a 2000 graduate of Albright College.

She was an incredible wife, mother, sister, teacher, and friend. She was funny, creative, inspiring, optimistic, always positive, and had a smile that lit up any room. She enjoyed spending free time with her children, sewing, crafting, and traveling.

Rosemary was the daughter of the Rev. William Neale Lanigan of Alabama and the late Nancy Santangelo Coyle of Worcester Twp. PA. Rosemary is survived by her husband; William F. Miller III (Bill); son, Dax; daughter, Claire; brother, Neale Lanigan; and nieces, Rowan and Kristeen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 East State Street Doylestown, PA 18901 from 9:00-11:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 Saturday, April 2nd 2022. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.

At Rosemary’s request instead of a luncheon after the service we will have a “life celebration” (aka the birthday party she wished she could have had with all her friends back in Dec. but due to many circumstances could not) sometime in the near future. She mentioned wanting people to talk about her and I think that would be a great time to share stories about her with each other and the kids.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to The Seeing Eye https://www.seeingeye.org/you-can-help/ or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
