Dr. Harry Jay Hoesch Jr. of Doylestown, PA passed away at his residence on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was 89.
Born in Camden, NJ to the late Harry Jay Hoesch Sr. and Hilda (Knedeisen) Hoesch, Harry resided in Doylestown, PA in 1960.
He studied at Elizabethtown College and Ohio State University and received a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indianapolis, IN. Harry established his own chiropractic practice from 1960-1996 in Buckingham, PA. He was a member and Past President of the Doylestown Lions Club, attended Living Hope Community Church of Perkasie, and a US Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean War.
He was the beloved husband of 15 years to Audrey E. Hoesch and the late Regina Hoesch; devoted father of Harry “Jay” Hoesch III, Lynn Harlan and husband Kevin; dear brother of the late Marlene Milbourne; loving grandfather of Leigh McKee and husband Steven, Sarah Loux and husband Jacob, Crystal Santiago and husband Adam; cherished great-grandfather of Abby and Julia McKee, Bella Santiago and Jacob Riggs Loux; also survived by a step-daughter Lori Armstrong Halber and step granddaughters, Alexandra and Jacqueline Halber.
Services will be private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, Doylestown, PA.
