Obituary for Robert F. Black
Robert F. Black of Doylestown, PA passed away at his home on Saturday, February 5, 2022. He was 68.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Robert Stanley and Anneliese Adele (Schlenz) Black, he resided in Fairless Hills, PA before moving to Doylestown, PA 30 years ago.
Robert was an Eagle Scout. After graduating from Pennsbury High School in 1971, he served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years and upon his discharge from the Navy, graduated from Millersville University . He enjoyed golfing, skiing, sailing and was an avid Eagles Football fan. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and watching sports with them.
He was the loving husband of 31 years to Jeanne (Zamonski) Black; devoted father of Alexandra and Sarah Black; cherished brother of Annabelle Schwartz (Jay), Michael Black, and James E. Black (Linda); beloved uncle to many nephews. He will be missed by all.
The family will receive their friends at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902 on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am.
Burial services will be held privately at a later date.
