Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Ann Hager
Margaret A. Hager “Peggy” of Buckingham, PA passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in ManorCare of Montgomeryville, PA. She was 65.
Born in Doylestown, PA to the late Paul & Mary Cornelius, Peggy resided in Buckingham Township for the last 30 years.
Peggy was a graduate of Central Bucks East High School, Class of 1974. She received a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Northern Arizona. Peggy was formerly employed as a Pulmonary Function Technologist with Doylestown Hospital for 27 years then the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for 15 years, retiring in 2019. Peggy was a member f Christ Lutheran Church of Pipersville and loved to travel on cruise lines to tropical climates and the Caribbean.
She was the beloved wife of 44 years to Hugh F. Hager; devoted mother of Meredith Spadaccino (Timothy); loving stepmother to Traci Porczynski (Tad), and Douglas Hager (Katie); dear sister of Paul Cornelius Jr. (Jennifer), Frank McGonigle, Esther Johnson and Fiance’ Wayne Tebbutt, Patricia Johnson (Eric “Rick”); loving grandmother of Lukas, Sabrina, David, Seth, Devin, Ryan, Lauryn and Timothy, Jr.; cherished great-grandmother of Aleah.
The family will receive their friends at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 353 E. Dark Hollow Road, Pipersville, PA 18947 on Saturday, October 16th from 10:00-11:00 am, prior to the memorial service at 11:00 am.
