Sandra Ruth Houston “Sandy”
(nee Caffey)
Born in Abington, PA on April 4, 1956, she grew up in Bucks County and resided in Warrington for the last 15 years. Sandy passed away on September 21, 2021.
Sandy worked her entire career (32 years) as an administrative assistant with the Bucks County Juvenile Probation Department, retiring in 2019. She enjoyed music (especially The Rolling Stones), cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Sandy was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan never missing a game on TV.
Sandy was the loving mother of Thomas Houston III, Matthew Houston and Heather Houston; cherished daughter of Doris Caffey and the late Leonard “Keith” Caffey; dear sister of Laura Fiegel (Tom), Keith Caffey (Sue), Steve Caffey (Claire) and Jennifer Munyon (Ed); beloved grandmother of Myra, Ryan, Thomas IV and Savannah; dear sister-in-law of Millie Houston.
The family will receive friends at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, with a memorial service to begin at 12:00 pm.
Cremation services were private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sandy’s memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
