Obituary for Ann M. Parker

Ann M. Parker passed away at her residence in Warrington, PA on Saturday, July 17, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was 74 years old.

Ann is survived by Richard Parker, her husband for over 52 years; her children David, Jeffrey (Mariko Seida), Craig (Randi Bronstein), Rebecca (Ryan Smith) and Melissa (Jon Adams II) Parker; her sister Mary Hartt; her brother-in-law Walter Johnson; her grandchild Joella Ann Bragg; her grandchildren Emma Claire, Lily Grace, Ava Charlotte, Jack Anthony Smith; her grandchild Naoto Parker Seida; and her aunt Rachel Belles.

Ann was born in Wilkes Barre, PA to Eugene Marvin and Sylvan Belles, She grew up on the family farm in Shickshinny PA, graduating from Northwest Area High School in 1964. She attended Penn State Hazelton Campus, then transfered to the main campus, graduating in 1969 with a BA in Social Welfare. As a college intern she worked as a case worker at Retreat State Hospital in Hunlock Creek, PA. After getting married, she worked in food service and retail at State College until her first child was born. The family moved to Warminster, PA in 1973 and then to Warrington, PA, where she has resided since 1976. After having 5 children, Ann worked as a Psychiatric Aide and then Residential Counselor at Foundations Behavioral Health in Doylestown, PA for about 5 years, then as an Administrative Case Manager with the Lenape Valley Foundation in Doylestown for about 20 years.

Ann enjoyed taking care of and being surrounded by her cats and dogs, and had a love for flowers. Most of all, Ann loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, who she cherished and adored.

Services will be held privately. Ann will be laid to rest in the Marvin Cemetery in Shickshinny, PA.
