Gerald E. Taifer of Souderton, PA passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. He was 81.
Born in Doylestown, PA. He was the son of the late Laura (Young) Taifer and Edgar Taifer and Elwood Barnes. Jerry resided in Doylestown, PA before moving to Souderton, PA in 1984.
He was formerly employed as a prep chef with Zoto’s Diner of Line Lexington, PA for 34 years. He was chef at his family's diner Ed's Diner in Doylestown, PA. He was an avid Eagles fan.
He was the beloved husband of 36 years to Carol Kemp Taifer; devoted father of Terry Fistori, Cindy McIlhinney, Jay Taifer, Tammy Blowers, and Jerome Taifer ( proceded in death); loving step-father of Joseph Kemp, Diana Talsania, Carolyn Kester, Karen Livezey and John Kemp; dear brother of Shirley Worthington and (the late) Betty Jane Bair; also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve step- grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Cremation services were under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. Services are private
