Obituary for A. John Piancastelli
A. John Piancastelli of Perkasie, PA passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at his residence. He was 90.
Born in London, England to the late Annino and Beatrice (Phair) Piancastelli, John immigrated to the United States in 1963 settling in Broomall, PA. John and his family moved to Hatboro, PA in 1973 and lived there before moving to Perkasie, PA a year ago.
He was formerly employed as a manager/supervisor in hotel management and the management of country clubs. John was a member and former President of CMAA (Club Management Association of America); life member and former employee of the Racquet Club of Philadelphia; former member of the Philadelphia Pickwick Club; and also enjoyed playing golf and tennis.
He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Piancastelli and Christine (O’Connor) Piancastelli; devoted father of Johanna (Joe) Cusick, John (Patricia) Piancastelli, Anthony Piancastelli, and the late Jacqueline Piancastelli and Angela Rachael Piancastelli; dear brother of Lavinia Quinby; loving grandfather of Dyanna (Tom) Tonrey, Joseph, Nicholas and Mia Piancastelli, Kimberley (Robert) Robinson and Christopher Kozma.
Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
