Obituary for E. Leon Anderson
Leon Anderson of Doylestown, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home. He was 84.
Born in Chicago, Il to the late Edward and Inez (Rushing) Anderson, Leon resided in Buckingham, PA for 10 years, prior to his move to Doylestown in 1991. His work as a business executive, primarily with Sears, Roebuck, and Co., allowed him and his family to travel and live internationally.
Leon served in the US Army and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Doylestown, PA He was an accomplished published writer of books, articles, and short stories.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara (Leaverton) Anderson; cherished children Michael Anderson (Tiffany) and Paul Anderson (Leanne); dearest brother of Donna Clark and the late Paul Thomas Anderson (Penny); proud grandchildren John, Eric, Annika, Elizabeth, Christina and Lucas.
Services will be held at a later date.
