Obituary for Dr. Alan M. Ference
Dr. Alan M. Ference of Bedminster Township passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in the Quakertown Center, Quakertown. He was 73.
Born in Trenton, NJ to the late Joseph and Ada (Miller) Ference, Alan resided in Ottsville before moving to Bedminster.
Alan was a graduate of Central Bucks High School and later received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Temple University Dental School. He had his own dental practice for 40 years, first in Buckingham and later in Fountainville. Alan came to know his Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 34 and was active within Hilltown Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, photography and running.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karen (Hare) Ference; his son, Alan “Brad” Ference; and his brother Ronald Ference.
The family will receive friends at the Hilltown Baptist Church, 26 Upper Church Road, Chalfont, PA 18914 on Thursday, December 31st from 9:30-10:00 am, with a service to follow at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow in the Hilltown Baptist Church Cemetery (Old Cemetery).
