Obituary for Pearl M. Lang

Pearl M. Lang of New Hope, PA passed away at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, PA on Wednesday, December 9, 2020. She was 85.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ethan and Hannah (Bate) Lang, Pearl resided in the Holmesburg Section of Philadelphia, before moving to Buckingham Springs Retirement Community, New Hope, PA 25 years ago.

She was formerly employed as a secretary with Hobart Scale Company and later Whitman’s Chocolates of Philadelphia for 26 years before retirement. Pearl also worked as a Mary Kay Cosmetics representative for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of Buckingham, PA and was active with the Association Social Group of Buckingham Springs.

She was the beloved wife of 66 years to John “Jack” Lang; devoted mother of Carol Carmichael and husband Steven, John D. Lang and wife Terri; loving grandmother of Evan (Cindy), Jack (Carly), Elizabeth (Tom) and Kevin; cherished great-grandmother of Thomas, Nathan, Riley and a baby boy on the way Jack IV; dear sister of June Lang.

A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 10:00-11:30 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am.

Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA
