Obituary for Mary L. D'Eredita
It is with great sadness that we announce Mary L. D’Eredita of Doylestown, PA passed away in Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, PA on December 4, 2020. She was 97.
Born in Passaic, NJ to the late Charles and Julia (Jacura) Lengyl, she resided in New Hyde Park, NY before moving to Doylestown, PA in 1987.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. D’Eredita; devoted mother of Juliana Saveriano (late husband Richard) and Dennis D’Eredita (Lorraine); loving grandmother of Christopher Saveriano (Stephanie), Diana Jordan (Michael), Melissa Conway, Michael D’Eredita, Joseph D’Eredita, Dayna Powers (Brian) and the late Dennis D’Eredita ; cherished great-grandmother of Sophia Saveriano, John Saveriano, Joey Saveriano, Madison Jordan, Mia Jordan, Dylan Conway. Also survived and predeceased by countless family and friends.
Mary was formally employed as a bookkeeper with J.C Penney Department Store for many years prior to retiring and devoted much of her time to volunteering and making this world a better place. She was an avid Scrabble player, had many creative outlets that included crocheting, ceramics and crafts and always looked for ways to serve others in need. She loved to travel and was always up for an adventure, whether it was a trip to New York to see a show or a walk around her neighborhood. Mary was a friend to everyone she met and beloved by those that had the pleasure of knowing her.
A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 12:00pm. A private interment will be held at Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown, PA following the mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to any local food bank or charitable organization providing meals for those in need would be appreciated.
