Obituary for Kenneth M. Sheehan

Kenneth M. Sheehan of New Hope, PA passed away at his residence on Friday, November 20, 2020. He was 66.

Born in Astoria, Queens, NY to the late Edward and Dorothy (Turner) Sheehan, Ken resided in Long Island, NY and New York City before moving to New Hope five years ago. He loved his new environment, particularly being near the river and Washington Crossing State Park .

Ken was formerly employed with the Sheet Metal Workers Union local 28 and then Stagehand Union IATSE Local No. 1, New York City for 20 years before retiring in 2012. While working in the Prop Dept. of ‘Late Show with David Letterman’, he was often featured on air, much of what can still be viewed on line. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Philip’s Episcopal Church of New Hope, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycles, pick-up trucks, sky and scuba diving. He was a small guy who lived a big life!

He was the beloved husband of Barbara J. Taylor; dear brother of Joyce Green and late husband Al, Edward Sheehan and late wife Susan, late sisters Marilyn [Erwin] Vreken and Dotty [Don] Smith; also survived by numerous loved nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
