Born in Doylestown, PA to the late Robert and Hettie (Spencer) Klein, Doris resided in Lahaska, PA since 1951, prior to Carversville, PA in 2015.
She was a proud member of the Midway Volunteer Fire Company of Lahaska, PA.
Doris was the beloved wife of 53 years to the late Lester R. Truitt. She was the cherished mother of Robert Truitt (Carol) – Carversville, PA, Joseph Truitt – Dublin, PA, and Dean Truitt (Barbara) – Portland, ME; loving grandmother of Paul (Heather) and Matthew Truitt, and the late Lesley Truitt; dearest great grandmother of Vincent Truitt; caring sister of Henry Klein (Gladys) – Litz, PA.
