About my mom…

My mother was an amazing woman and surely the best mom on earth. She made both my childhood and adult life anything a son could ask for and I only have good memories. She was the type of person that would always have you back or give you the shirt off hers. Her Son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren were her world. At the end of her life is when her personality really shined and left a permanent impression on all of us. Beginning with the sudden passing of my father in Nov, 2019 the last 8 months have been filled with change, obstacles and illness. Mom overcame all of them and was only focused on the love of her family. Diagnosed with a terminal condition in June she spent her last days under hospice care and with her family. The courage and grace she displayed can’t be put into words and on Saturday July, 11 she passed peacefully in her sleep with Melissa and I by her side. She would want anyone reading this to know that she was at peace and ready to move on, that she lived a wonderful and fulfilling life, and that she had ZERO regrets. The world lost one of the most beautiful people and we can feel her presence watching over us. We are determined to live our own life with the wisdom and lessons she inspired. Love you forever mom!

Private cremation services were under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
