She had been a resident at Harborview Nursing Home in Doylestown since her return from Kansas in 2012.

She was born in Hamilton, NJ, on Kuser Road on the 16th of November, 1941. She was predeceased by her parents, Carrie Mae (Rigby-Kreiling) Ward and John Kreiling; her siblings, Linda, Rufus and Caroline; her children, Anthony A. M. Pietrowski (Brenda) and James Anthony Pietrowski (Marla); and her grandson Joshua Pietrowski. She is survived by her siblings, Terry and Kathy; her children, Shari Mae Fisher (Scott), Thomas Wayne Pietrowski (Conny), Gene Robert Pietrowski (Michelle), William Anthony Pietrowski (Bridgett) and Charles Andrew Pietrowski (Jennifer); and her grandchildren, Sam Fisher, Jacob Fisher, Jean-Marie Pietrowski, Jessica Pietrowski, Gene Pietrowski, Gillian Pietrowski, Malachi Pietrowski, Elijah Pietrowski, Isaiah Pietrowski and Luke Pietrowski as well as numerous children-in-law, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Sharon spent the bulk of her working life as a telephone operator, a skill that she learned during her time in the U.S. Army where she was a switchboard operator. She will be well remembered for her tenacity in the face of adversity as well as her abiding love for bells, of which she had an extensive collection, and her crocheting ability. It was a rare day indeed when you would find her without her needles and yarn.

Future arrangements to be determined.
