Obituary for Inge Marie Felbier
Inge Marie Felbier, 98, died on Wednesday, May 6, 2020.
She was born and raised in Germany. In 1954 she, her husband and two daughters immigrated to Canada and then in 1960 to the US. She was a loving wife and mother, as well as a dedicated homemaker, who loved to garden, embroider, sew, and bake. Her fondest family holidays were the camping and fishing trips to northern Canada. The family was a long-time resident of Cookstown, NJ.
Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Hans G. Felbier, a sister and brother-in-law, Annegret and Klaus Westermann of Hamburg, Germany; she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Monika and Albert Stern of New Hope, PA and Ursula and Thomas Recktenwald of Williamsburg, VA; three grandchildren, Natalie Szalay and her husband, Andrew of Lancaster, PA; Adam Recktenwald and his wife, Leighanne of Pt. Pleasant, NJ and Kurt Recktenwald and his wife Anna of Ewing, NJ; three great-grandchildren, Mila Recktenwald, Katarina and Max Szalay; and a niece, Christiane Pflüger and family of Norderstedt, Germany.
Cremation services and interment will be private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
