Obituary for Miguel Angel Martinez

Miguel A. Martinez of Doylestown, PA passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Wesley Enhanced Living Retirement home. He was 88 years old.

Miguel was born in Camaguey, Cuba to Miguel A Martinez Sr and Luisa Dagneses. In 1968 Miguel emigrated to the United States of America in search of the American dream. A dream he would achieve shortly after arriving. Miguel, his wife Nora and children, Miguelito and Norita resided in Levittown, PA for 30 + years. He worked as an electrician at US Steel plant in Fairless Hills Pa. After retiring he and Nora moved to Heritage Creek a 55+ community in Warwick, PA. There they made many friends participated in lots of activities and enjoyed an elevated quality of life. After 12 years in Warwick. In 2016 He and Nora moved to Wesley Enhanced Living Doylestown where he spent his final years.

Miguel enjoyed playing dominoes, card games and playing billiards. He had a talent for drawing he could duplicate anything he saw. Throughout the year he enjoyed watching all the Philadelphia sports teams. Miguel’s most favorite past time was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.

He was the beloved husband of Nora Mateos Martinez for 64 years; loving father of Miguel Martinez, Jr. (Abelardo Conesa) and Nora Rimensnyder (Gregory); cherished brother of Mario Martinez; and devoted grandfather of Morgan and Matthew Rimensnyder. Also survived by many cousins from New Hampshire to Florida.

Cremation services will be private.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
