Obituary for Gilda C. D'Angelo
Gilda C. D’Angelo of Furlong, PA passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019 in Wesley Enhanced Living-Skilled Nursing Center, Doylestown, PA. She was 91.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Christopher and Catherine Jacono, Gilda resided in Philadelphia, PA before moving to Furlong, PA in 2017.
She was formerly employed as an artistic designer with the Weiler Company of Philadelphia, PA. Gilda enjoyed dress making, knitting sweaters and afghans as well as reading.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clement C. D’Angelo; devoted mother of Clement M. D’Angelo ( Maryann), Andrew D’Angelo (Renate) and Claudia Levine (Barry); loving grandmother of James, Rachel, Cara, Maxemillian and Abigal D’Angelo, and Esther Levine.
A viewing will be held at Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 am, with a service to be held at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
