Obituary for Amy R. Funk
Amy R. Funk of Doylestown, PA passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 surrounded by her family in the Jefferson Health Hospice at Warminster, PA. She was 68.
Born in Sayre, PA to the late Wilbur and Dorothy (Hembury) Raub, Amy resided in Mildred, PA before moving to Doylestown in 1972.
Amy was an active member and currently employed as a Parish Clerk with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Doylestown, PA for the past 25 years. She enjoyed playing an important role in the lives of her family, especially in the lives of her grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of 47 years to William H. Funk, Jr.; devoted mother of Andrew Funk and wife Devin, Matthew Funk and Amanda Funk; loving grandmother of Owen, Quentin, Emily and Calista Funk; dear sister of Cindy Casto and husband B. Wayne, Beth Williams and husband Wayne, Lois Ruhl and husband Randall.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Monday, December 31st at 11:00 am. The family will receive their friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service at church.
