Daniel R. Regan of Doylestown, PA passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was 61.

Born in Lowell, MA to the late James R. and Patricia (Dixon) Regan, he first moved to the Philadelphia area in 1981 before settling in Doylestown, PA in 1992.

Dan received his Bachelor’s Degree in business from UMass Lowell. He worked in sales, outfitting life science research facilities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 1991 he started his own company: ECE Scientific Co Inc., which he owned and operated since. Dan enjoyed golfing, dragon boat racing, crossfit training, and spending time with his sons. He closely followed Boston sports teams and would frequently travel to watch his sons’ band Ceramic Animal perform.

Dan is survived by the sons he so dearly loved; Erik, Elliott, and Christopher Regan. He leaves his brother Michael of Lowell, MA, his sister Lisa and her husband Barry Golner of Lowell, MA, his sister Deborah DeMauro of Tyngsboro, MA, his nephews Daniel and Nicholas Regan, Michael, Derek, and Alec Golner, and nieces Melissa and RosaLee DeMauro. He is predeceased by his mother Patricia (Dixon) Regan, his father James R. Regan, and his brother James Regan.

Visitation will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, October 20th from 10:00 – 11:30 am with a service to begin at 11:30 am.

Private cremation will follow.
