Russell B. McLaughlin, Sr. of Doylestown, PA passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 in Wesley Enhanced Skilled Nursing Center, Doylestown, PA. He was 89.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Leroy George McLaughlin and Alice Ann (Sykes) McLaughlin, Russell resided in Doylestown, PA and Brigantine, NJ.

Russell was a graduate of LaSalle High School and College and was the former Owner and Operator of Building Inspection Underwriters of Feasterville and Scranton, PA. He held several patents that assisted NASA with rocket technology.

He was the devoted husband of 67 years to Evelyn (Centurione) McLaughlin; devoted father of Russell B. McLaughlin, Jr. and wife Martha, Evelyn Sentore and husband Tony, Alice Robin Pavlo and husband John, Mark McLaughlin and wife Eileen, Theresa Sturgeon and husband Bruce, Bonnie Risi and husband Joe; also survived by eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Service were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
