Rolfe A. Stapenell of Doylestown, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. He was 57.

Born in Margate, England Rolfe immigrated to the United States in 1968 with his family. He grew up in Levittown, PA and raised his family in Morrisville, PA. He also resided in Solebury Township, PA before moving to Doylestown, PA in 2011.

Rolfe received an Associate’s Degree from Pennco Tech in Bristol, PA and attended the University of South Carolina. He was the Chief Executive Officer of Rage Bulk Systems, LTD an industrial engineering firm located in Doylestown, PA since 2000. Rolfe enjoyed golfing and playing the guitar. He played in several local cover bands throughout the years. Even though he built a very successful engineering firm, and was an extremely talented guitarist he considered his greatest accomplishment in life to be raising his 3 brilliant sons.

He was the beloved son of Vera (Munday) Tracy and the late Ralph Stapenell; devoted father of Adam Stapenell and wife Jackie; Michael Stapenell and companion Raina Becker, and Christian Stapenell; former husband of Maria Stapenell; dear brother of Elaine Richetti; half brother of Cynthia Millikin and husband Dave, Julie Hills and husband Peter; loving nephew of Linda Bosack and husband Rich; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and family members in England.

Rolfe was a kind-hearted soul who made friends wherever he went. He loved to karaoke with his friends and family and enjoyed making them laugh. He will be so missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, June 30th at 12:00 pm. The family will receive their friends from 10:00 am -12:00 pm prior to the service.

Cremation services were private.
