Jane Ann Ruckdeschel of Perkasie, PA passed away at her residence on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. She was 87.

Born in Bronx, NY, Jane was a resident of Perkasie, PA and was a former resident of Newton, NC for 24 years.

Jane was formerly employed as an executive secretary with Philco-Ford of Willow Grove, PA and General Electric of Dresher, PA for over 40 years, retiring in 1989. Jane loved her family doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid crossword enthusiast, enjoyed gardening, poetry and spending time with her pets.

She was the beloved wife of 61 years to the late Earl J. Ruckdeschel, Jr.; devoted mother of Dan (Josephine) Ruckdeschel, Earl (Pat) Ruckdeschel III, Bill (Ayako) Ruckdeschel, Alyce (John) Forgione, Jane (Frank) Francica; dear sister of Francis Egan; loving grandmother of the late Nicholas Ruckdeschel, also survived by 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, May 30th from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Thursday, May 31st from 10:00-10:45 am at St. Agnes Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960 immediately followed by an 11:00 am funeral mass.

Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18904 at 1:30 pm.
