Gerald “Jerry” Joseph Walsh passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, with his loving wife by his side. He was 63.

Jerry was born in Philadelphia to Evelyn Konrad Walsh and the late John P. Walsh.

Beloved husband of almost 40 years to Susan Finch Walsh, Jerry resided in Pipersville where both he and Sue were active volunteers in his beloved Tinicum Township.

Cherished brother to Jack Walsh and wife Barbara Walsh; Dr. Tricia Walsh Coates and husband Robert Coates. Loving uncle and great-uncle to Laura, Christine, Sarah and Amelia as well as great-nephews Blake, Bryce and Hudson.

A 1972 graduate of Lower Moreland High School, Jerry was a First Class Lineman with PECO for over 40 years, often braving late nights and dangerous conditions to bring power to our communities.

An avid motorcyclist and collector, Jerry enjoyed restoring vintage vehicles and exhibiting his award-winning cycles at regional and national shows.

Loved by an expansive circle of friends, Jerry is fondly remembered for his quick wit, kind heart and “reluctance” to voice his opinions.

A memorial service will be held at Bryn Athyn Cathedral, 900 Cathedral Road, Bryn Athyn, PA 19009 on Friday, May 25th at 11 am.
