Condolences

Condolence From: Steve Cohen
Condolence: To Tom’s kids ... Your dad and I met in Boston, where I was working for the AP when he arrived. He and I became friends, and I benefited from the enthusiasm he brought to his job as the AP bureau’s news editor. I did investigative reporting at the Statehouse, and with all the AP’s responsibilities, I needed the news editor’s support in order to pursue stories that went beyond routine reporting. We lost touch after your dad left Boston, but the Internet brought us back together in recent years. I am awfully sorry for your loss, which I was shocked to discover just today. Rest In Peace Tom. I will miss you - Steve

Condolence: Carly and Ashleigh, I was shocked and saddened to see your dad's obituary this morning. I have such fond memories of our times together in Stone Harbor, and so thoroughly enjoyed receiving emails from him over the years. He had a way with words that would lighten my day and make me just stop and smile. My prayers are for you and your family. Bruce

Condolence: Dear Ashleigh, Carly and Family, I offer you my deepest, sincere, heartfelt condolences on the passing of your dad, Tom. He was a scholar and a gentleman and I will dearly miss him. Tom had a way of telling stories about his many worldly adventures that you knew that he too enjoyed his tales. His sense of humor was always entertaining as were his insights as a journalist. I will remember Tom fondly as a dear friend. Please find solace in the wonderful memories you made together with him. Blessings and Peace, Ellen K.
