Obituary for Margaret A. Nash

Margaret A. ‘Peggy’ Nash of Doylestown, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. She was 90.

Her daughters, Jackie and Peggyanne Nash, along with her grandchildren, find peace knowing she is once again with her beloved husband Jack Nash, and her cherished sons, Jay and Billy Nash.

She will be missed by her sisters, Dorothy Gandini and husband Artie, Barbara Mehnert and husband John, and her sister-in-law, Ronnie Guiry, widow of Peggy’s brother, Peter. Peggy’s nieces and nephews will always remember her special warmth and her sense of humor.

Peggy was a traditional homemaker until 1974, when she and her husband started New Century, an advertising and promotional fulfillment company. She served as CFO of the company until her retirement in 1995. Both in raising a family and starting the family business, her intelligence, support, and enthusiasm became the cornerstone of their success.

Born in New York City, NY to Philomena and Peter Guiry, Peggy resided in Warren and Flemington, NJ before moving to Pennsylvania in 2005. Peggy was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church of Doylestown.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
