Marianne Bernadette  Schwoob
Marianne Bernadette Schwoob of Furlong, PA passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 in Stanford Valleycare Medical Center, Pleasanton, CA while on vacation with her husband enroute to Hawaii. She was 79.

Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Helen (Karkiewicz) Kutys, Marianne resided in Willingboro NJ. Where she attended Burlington County Community College for 2 years going on to Rutgers College at Camden Campus where she was president of Psi CHI, International honor society of psychology. She then continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Master’s Degree in Psychology, before moving to Furlong, PA. She was employed as an Administrator at Fox Subacute at the Warrington Location in Warrington PA until she retired. Upon retirement, she was among the first to have a liver transplant and kidney removed during the same operation at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital.

She married her husband James Schwoob in The Chapel at Fort Dix NJ in 1978. They made many happy memories traveling the world together.

Marianne loved to spend time with the many family and friends that loved her. She always had a ready smile on her beautiful face and a kind word for everyone. She loved to share stories of her travels. Her positive spirit was in inspiration. She also enjoyed reading, and shopping. Marianne loved to learn and was learning to speak Spanish when she passed.

Beloved wife of her husband and best friend James Schwoob, she leaves behind her Godchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless treasured friends. The Joy, Grace, Beauty and Love she brought to the world will live on in the hearts of all that were blessed to know her.

A viewing will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, January 20th from 10:00-11:00 am, followed by a mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be held in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA 18940 on Tuesday, January 23rd at 1:30 pm.
