Jimmie Ruth Norvell Derr of Doylestown passed away in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA on Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was 95.

Born on November 20, 1921 in Farmers Branch, TX Jimmie resided in Arlington, TX before moving to Doylestown, PA in 2003.

Jimmie was a member of the Toe Tappers Dance Group of Doylestown; she also enjoyed art, acrylic and oil painting.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Norvell and the late George Derr; devoted mother of Mike Norvell and wife Jane, and the late Kathy Norvell; loving grandmother of Amanda Norvell and husband Steve, Joanna Hunt and husband Drew; cherished great-grandmother of Madalyn, Brandon, and Aidan Hunt, and Charles and Henry McMahon.

A memorial service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, December 16th at 10 am.
