Helen (Rohrman) Shannon of Buckingham Township, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Buckingham, PA. She was 88.

Born in Philadelphia, PA Helen resided in Bristol, PA before moving to Buckingham in 2002.

She was formerly employed as an insurance agent with Biddle & Company of Newtown Square, PA for 21 years, retiring in 1991. Helen was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church of Buckingham and enjoyed going to plays, scenic drives and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was the beloved wife of the late James J. Shannon, devoted mother of James J. Shannon, Jr. and wife Kathy, Linda S. Hess and husband Donald, and Steven E. Shannon, dear sister of the late Harry Rohrman; and loving grandmother of Donald and Kimberly Hess.

Cremation services were private under the direction of the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home/ Central Bucks Crematory, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901
