Flora C. Gray of Pipersville, PA passed away in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA on Monday, August 29, 2016. She was 83.

Born in Oakland, CA to the late Frank and Laura Fontanella, Flora resided in Oakland, CA and Pittsburgh, PA before moving to Pipersville, PA 32 years ago.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church of Doylestown and St. Vincent DePaul Society, RCIA, and a Minister of Holy Communion within the church. Flora enjoyed vacationing in the Outer Banks with her extended family, reading, and quilting.

She was the beloved wife of 62 years to Thomas Gray, devoted mother of Tom (Tammy) Gray, Ken (late Lori Anne) Gray, Larry (Debra) Gray, John (Stacy) Gray, and Doug (Kathie) Gray; loving grandmother of Thomas (TJ), Matthew, Kelsey and husband Andrew, Ryan, Ken, Jr., Carrine, Ehlana and John; dear sister of Lora Schwarz and late husband Richard, and the late Allen and Amos Coe; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901on Thursday, September 1st at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am prior to mass.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery behind the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel/St. Vincent DePaul Society would be appreciated.
