Obituary for Maryann Evans (Konway)

WARRINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA - Maryann Evans of Warrington, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was 52 years old.

Born in Abington, PA Maryann resided in Warrington, PA since 1998 and was a former resident of Chalfont, PA.

Maryann was employed with Genuardi's of Warrington, PA for 10 years and was formerly employed as a school bus driver with the Central Bucks School System and a window clerk for the Warrington Post Office Branch for 13 years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church of Warrington, PA and Maryann enjoyed fishing, camping and was athletic throughout her life. Maryann fought a long courageous battle against cancer.

She is the devoted mother of Peter Evans, Jr., former wife of Peter Evans, Sr., beloved daughter of the late John J. Konway, and mother Lee White and step-father Ray, dear sister of John J. Konway II and wife Margie, dear aunt of John M. Konway, also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue (Route 611 & County Line Road), Warrington, PA 18976 on Friday, May 25th at 10 am. The family will receive their friends from 9:30-10 am at the church prior to the mass.

Interment of cremains will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Maryann's son, Peter Evans, Jr.
