We have vast experience in meeting the needs of all religious and ethnic groups, realizing that each family is unique when it comes to specific requests, service details and merchandise selections that are arranged.

Our staff is prepared to discuss all of the available service or cremation options with you. Whether you or your family members desire a traditional service with a viewing followed by interment, entombment or cremation or a simple cremation service with a memorial service to follow at the funeral home facility or a local church.

Cremation Services

If you choose cremation we can provide you with many alternatives. These may include, but are not limited to, a traditional funeral, followed by cremation, or a cremation, followed by a memorial service. We will assist you through the process and manage any other requests you may have.

Families generally select a wooden casket or alternative container for the cremation procedure.  Once the procedure is finalized many families select an urn or receptacle for the cremated remains of a loved one.  Today urns are manufactured using many different materials such as: bronze, brass, wood, brass and pewter, marble, cultured marble, porcelain and biodegradable materials for scattering and “Green” alternatives.  Families may also select urns that may be used as jewelry, smaller keepsake urns or medium sized urns.

Cremated remains can be interred in a family grave space or placed in a niche.  It is necessary; however, to check with your cemetery or memorial park regarding burial requirements and the use of an urn vault or receptacle.  The urn is placed in the receptacle inside the grave space prior to the closing of the grave.  Also, niches may have restricted sizes which sometimes limit a family when an urn selection is required.

Some families who wish to divide the cremated remains have the option of selecting keepsake urns or miniature versions of larger sized traditional urns.  This makes each cremation service unique for every family we serve.  We will accommodate any family’s requests or needs when it comes to making a decision for a receptacle within to place the ashes or cremated remains.  Personalization, appliqués and script options are available for most urn selections.

We promise our families that each cremation is handled on an individual basis in a secure manner.  With special care and attention given to the retrieval of the cremated remains of a loved one.

Traditional Services

A traditional service generally includes a visitation (open or closed casket) for one-two days followed by a service and graveside interment. Some families prefer that the visitation take place at the funeral home, while others choose to utilize their church for the ceremony. We handle all the details when arranging services with the church and cemetery.  Many cemeteries require the purchase of an outer burial container or vault, which is a cemetery requirement, not a funeral home requirement.  A casket is placed within the vault after the family leaves the gravesite and the cemetery closes the grave space.
