Lula “Lu” Deline Drake of Doylestown, PA passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Doylestown Hospital. She was 73.

Born in San Diego, CA to the late O.F. Edwards and Pauline (Bradbury) Edwards, Lu resided in Lebanon Township, NJ for 10 years, before moving to Doylestown in 2015.

She was currently employed as a receptionist with Briarleaf Nursing Home in Doylestown. Lu was a formerly active with the Chester, NJ Ambulance Squad and Ladies Auxiliary; she also enjoyed reading and playing Scrabble.

She was the devoted mother of Bonnie Drake and Fiancé Roman Wladyka, and Billy Wayne Drake; beloved step-mother of Scot and Megan McPherson; dear sister of Nancy Alcaraz and husband Raymond, Michaleen Kozlowski and late husband Raymond, Albert Edwards and wife Lynnette, Jack Edwards and wife Hortensia; loving grandmother of Zachary, Casey, Catherine, Tyler, Elizabeth and Tamara; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Sunday, July 29th at 2:00 pm. The family will receive their friends from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to service at funeral home.

Private cremation will follow.
