Florence W. Hurst of Doylestown, PA passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018. She was 95.

The fourth of six children, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Weisser. She was preceded in death by her brothers; Joseph Weisser Jr and Albert Weisser and sister, Helen Lempa. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles H Hurst, Sr, mother of the late Wayne J Hurst, Nana of the late Kurt M Yeager.

She is survived by her children: Charles H Hurst Jr, Patricia H Aivano (John) and Darla H Yeager (Michael). Also surviving are her grandchildren: Michael Aivano (Olga), Brian Hurst (Jennifer), Rachael Moore (Douglas) and Erin Yeager. She was blessed with three great grand children: Liam and Anna Hurst and Evelyn Moore. Her sisters Audrey Brown (Lane) and Dorothy Riesdorph (late Henry) also survive as well as many other loving family and friends.

Florence graduated from Lower Moreland High School and attended Bucks County Community College. She was a long time employee of Boswell’s Restaurant where she made life time friends and memories. Florence worked in Doylestown as a cost accountant before retiring to volunteer for many local organizations.
Florence treasured her family and was very influential in their lives. Her strong Christian faith, from a young age, guided her throughout her life.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28th at Forest Grove Presbyterian Church, 1856 Forest Grove Rd, Forest Grove, Pa 18922. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 am prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meals on Wheels of Central Bucks, 252 Belmont Ave, Doylestown, PA 18901 and her above mentioned church. Or, to fill the many voids left by Florence’s passing, volunteer or be a friend to someone in need.
